This will be the first collaboration between RMIT and Enric Ruiz-Geli and will be offered as an intensive design studio during the summer break of 2018.

The Barcelona studio will engage with the 22@ district in Barcelona and tie into Cloud 9’s networked approach to energy and ideas about how communities might deal with water, power and waste. In broader terms, the studio will look at how sustainability is used in the political context and how to re-invest savings against conventional ways of building.
