The purpose of this study tour is to introduce to you the fashion operations in China.  The activities will include visiting a factory, observing the process from design to manufacturing.  In addition, you will attend a trade show where latest development in textiles will be displayed.  You will have the opportunity to talk with professionals and seek their views and learn from their experience.  Visiting the Sourcing Office of Target will enable you to hear the work of the team in sourcing products and to bring them back to Australia.  Most importantly, you will learn the culture of China so that when you start working with professionals from China, you would know what is expected from you

Program cost
The approximate cost of this program is $3500
This includes:

Funding
  • 10 x $1000 Mobility Grants available (Associate Degree students only)

Cancellation fee
  • The cancellation fee is $500. The last date is 2 July 2018
