Austern Career Bootcamp
GET READY FOR LIFE AND WORK!
The Austern Career Bootcamp is designed to teach you real-world skills quickly and fill those gaps between what is learned at university and employers look for in the workplace. On this three-week program, you will get to work on real business challenges and see them applied and executed.
You will work in teams, pitch to executives and build your portfolio and skills to new levels.
You will also be engaged in skill-building workshops to help build your professional skill set and greatly enhance your future career prospects.
This program will give you an in-depth and balanced insight into working in the Asia-Pacific, as well as developing your professional skills and connections.
2 x COMPANY CHALLENGES (64 hours)
What better way to learn about market disruption than to be exposed to innovative, industry-changing companies and learn how to come up with solutions that address real-world problems?
You will be empowered to develop, execute and present back to company executives within 5 day period.
NETWORKING & MENTORSHIP (20 hours+)
In each program, you will be connected to 4+ mentors who have a wealth of knowledge and executive experience to help you conquer your personal mountains.
Our program facilitators will be there to provide you with individual feedback highlighting the areas you've improved on and ways you can further your growth.
SKILLS BUILDING WORKSHOPS (15 to 20 hours)
During the bootcamp, learning something new will become a part of your daily routine.
This is a rigorous learning period where you will also receive numerous workshops that cover topics ranging from presentation, pitching, resume building, interviewing practice, digital literacy and design thinking. No matter where you are from and what you are studying, these are key skills can be applied with any industry.

TRAVEL DATES You will be booking your own flights and are free to organise your own travel before and after the program.
• Open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students
• Not be "At Risk" of unsatisfactory academic progress
• Must have at least 1 elective available in your program if you wish to receive credits
ENROLMENT - OPTIONAL
• Gain 12 credit points towards your degree
• Enrol into a Business Internship course: BUSM4471 (undergraduate) OR BUSM4483 (postgraduate)
Austern Program Fees (including 3 weeks of accommodation): $2970
+ RMIT Tuition if you wish to enrol in the elective course
+ Host country Visa (if applicable)
