Students will live and work in disadvantaged communities and Hill Tribe Villages for this 7 week internship. Students will conduct a needs assessment to understand the unique cultures of the different Hill Tribes, the development challenges, as well as the nature of any economic activity. With this understanding, students will develop a Social Impact Plan that will pave the way for future support and collaboration between Challenges Abroad Australia and each village to actively address the development changes identified. Students will have the opportunity to work in small groups, supported by on the ground staff in order to achieve their set objectives. This is a unique opportunity to develop personally and professionally as you are pushed outside your comfort zone to work with limited resources.
