Program Details:
  • Program Dates: June to November 2018
  • Availability: 8 places
This program is a 4 week internship opportunity for two communication students to work in the field of Communication for Social change. Students will be based at the University of South Pacific's Department for Environment and Sustainable Development PACE-SD. During the internship, students will work on a range of media and communication projects with South Pacific regional governments, civil society organisations, non-government organisations, local communities and the University of South Pacific. 

Eligibility:
This program is open to postgraduate students from the School of Media and Communications only.

Program Cost:
The approximate cost is approximately AU$1,000. This cost is for airfare only. Accommodation will be provided by the University of South Pacific at no cost.

Travel Insurance:
Students on approved overseas activities receive complimentary travel insurance (policy number: 41443), although you may require additional cover depending on your circumstances.

2018 - There are 8 x $1,000 Global Experience Grants available.
