Program Details:

This program incorporates both a semester long online project and a global intensive at the end of the project. The online project will be completed with students from Malaysian Polytechnics and students from North Seattle College. Students will complete the project for Malaysian Logistics company, PKT Logistics. 

During the global intensive, students will spend time around Kuala Lumpur at the PKT One Logistics Hub spanning 27 acres, Putrajaya - a planned city that serves as the federal administrative center of Malaysia, Polytechnic Port Dickson and Westports Malaysia Port Klang.Travelling north to Politeknik Seberang Prai, students will visit Kulim Technology Park, industrial sites in Penang and UNESCO World Heritage Site Georgetown. 

Program Cost:
The approximate total cost of this program is AU$1,400.
This cost includes the following:

  • 10 Nights Accommodation
  • Spending Money, food, Ground Transport
  • Visa On Arrival

This program is open to the following students:
  • Diploma of International Business
  • Diploma of Logistics
  • Advanced Diploma of International Business
Academic Credit:
Students can gain credit towards the following courses:
  • Diploma of International Business: MKTG7888C Analyse Data for International Markets
  • Advanced Diploma of International Business: BUSM8746C Develop Strategies for Transport and Logistics Enterprises
  • Diploma of Logistics - BUSM6356C Develop and Implement Strategic Plans

Funding:
For the Winter 2017 term, the following grants are available:
  • 10 x $500 Global Mobility Grants
