An exciting opportunity is available for students enrolled in Global Marketing in Semester 2, 2017.
You have the chance to travel to China for two weeks during the winter break. You will learn about the political, cultural, economic and legal environment in Kunming and Shanghai
  • You will use your experience to inform your study in Global Marketing in semester 2. You will be conducting primary and secondary research while participating in this tour. When you return, you will be the designated Group Leader in your tutorial group, where your group will be investigating the proposal to introduce the given product/company into the Kunming and Shanghai areas of China.
  • You will present your research and vision to your group in a special session arranged in collaboration with your tutor and the Course Coordinator. You will be able to practice your leadership skills which are so important to your future employment.
  • Apart from the sessions at YUFE and with the Course Coordinator, you will  be able to participate in cultural immersion and visits to cultural places in Yunan, Dali, Eryuan, Lijiang and Shanghai. There will also be industry visits and talks at various places.
  • As the first group being taken on this tour, you will be involved in the successful creation of this program. Its success will enable it to be a possibility next year.
  • We will hold a pre-departure day on Saturday 24th June as well as other possible meeting times, but your interest and commitment is sought as soon as possible, as time is tight and high-season is approaching.
  • At this time of the year the weather is likely to be very hot, but some places might be cooler. This will all be discussed at the compulsory pre-departure session.
