Japan Collob 2018 study tour
Program details
The project is looking at the design across interior design, decoration and furniture. Students are to participate in studio and manufacturing precincts and studios while working on a mini project combining the main areas of design. A part of this project will include sourcing of furniture, fixtures, and textiles to develop a concept for the project over a period of 10 working days & to present their collective concepts to a furniture manufacture, an architectural firm & industry partners.
  • To collaborate with key design firms in Interior Design Department & furniture manufactures in Japan on a joint project where students from both programs work for a common resolution to an industry set brief.
  • To attend design related shows and visit leaders within the field of decoration & design at their place of work, to attend showroom openings as the new seasons launch.
