NOTE: Only students who have been accepted by CIS Australia should register here.
The current application cycle is for mobility activities with a start date between January 1, 2018 and December 31, 2018.

** Indicates rolling admission application/registration process. Applicants will be immediately notified of acceptance into this program and be able to complete post-decision materials prior to the term's application/registration deadline.

CISaustralia provide a wide range of volunteering opportunities around the globe through their comprehensive Volunteer Abroad programs. Lend a hand in developing communities and gain valuable personal and professional experience. Regardless of your objectives, you’ll enjoy living in an engaging overseas environment, while also benefiting from a volunteer experience.

These are fee-paying programs, and costs vary depending on location and academic outcomes. Please investigate individual programs for a breakdown of costs.

  • Health/Travel Insurance (if applicable)
** Please note: Students are now covered by RMIT’s travel insurance, although you may require additional cover depending on your circumstances. For more info, please see here.
 
Application and RMIT Registration Process:
STEP 1: Apply directly to CIS Australia for the program you are interested in. For information on how to apply, please refer to the Application Instructions.
STEP 2: Successful applicants will then register via Mobi by clicking the ‘Apply now’ button above
If you wish to seek RMIT credit, your Questionnaires must include:
  1. Academic Approval: your RMIT school-approved study plan. See here for more information about seeking study plan approval.
  2. Your CIS acceptance letter
STEP 3: You will then be prompted to complete RMIT’s Pre-departure requirements via Mobi.

Funding:
CIS Australia offer scholarships for some programs, please contact them for more info.

There may be alternative ways to fund your trip. Please check the Scholarships website and Global Experience website for funding options.
