The Berlin School of Economics and Law offers a two-week intensive Winter School program. Courses cover topics in business,and brand management. You will be able to earn academic credit while studying and interacting with students from all over the world in a truly multicultural environment. See here for more information about the program.  

This short-term program will be particularly attractive to College of Business students; running during the Melbourne summer semester break; this will allow students to complete an elective or core course outside the main semesters.

Eligibility
  • All RMIT undergraduate students and postgraduate coursework students in Business disciplines

Note: these courses are offered simultaneously and in intensive mode so it is not possible to take both. See here for more info. 
Academic credit at RMIT
This is an opportunity for you to gain credit for your degree during the RMIT mid-semester break.
  • The exact credit will depend on which course you need to be discussed with your RMIT Program Coordinator. You will need to complete a study plan as part of your application as per the application process below.
NOTE: this program is part of a reciprocal exchange agreement; if selected you will enrol into EXTL placeholder courses for which you will pay tuition fees to RMIT.

This includes:
  • Application and service fee (non-refundable)
  • Academic support programme (company / institutional visits)
  • Accommodation
  • Health, accident, and liability insurance for the length of the programme (mandatory)
  • Optional culture and leisure time programme

** Travel insurance:
Students on approved overseas activities receive complimentary travel insurance (policy number: 41443), although you may require additional cover depending on your circumstances.

Accommodation
Off-campus accommodation is included in the program fee at Students' Hostel. Students participating in the four-week course will have double rooms with a kitchenette, students participating in the two- to three-week course will be accommodated in double rooms with breakfast.

You also have the choice to arrange your own accommodation, in which case HWR Berlin will deduct the accommodation fee from the program fee.

Application and selection process
STEP 1: apply via Mobi by clicking the ‘Apply now’ button above by 9 September 2018
Your application must include:
  1. Your RMIT school-approved study plan. See here for more information about seeking study plan approval.
  2. A statement of purpose about why you want to participate in this program and how it will benefit you personally and academically.
STEP 2: Successful applicants will then be nominated to the host institution.
STEP 3: If nominated, you will then be contacted by Global Experiences, who will advise you about the next stage of your application. You will need to complete an application to the host institution.

Funding
  • 6 x $2000 Endeavour grants available! (College of Business students only)
