Work the World is the leading provider of safe, structured and hassle-free healthcare placements in low-resource settings across Africa, Asia and Latin America. Operating since 2005, Work the World has nurtured strong partnerships with hospitals and clinics in these destinations, which allows the creation of bespoke placements, taking into account students' specific requirements, ambitions and skills. Work the World's knowledgeable team and online elective planner will ensure students are 100% prepared and supported both pre and post departure. 

Work the World offers placements within medical, nursing, pharmacy, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, radiography/radiotherapy and dentistry.

This program is open to Pharmacy students only. 
Academic Credit:
Students can gain partial credit towards PHAR1010 Integrated Therapeutics and Pharamcy Practice 1

Program Cost:
The approximate cost of this program depends on the location.
  • $500 Registration fee for all locations
  • $2240 - $2740 for Nepal
  • $2790 for Cambodia
  • $3040 for Sri Lanka
Additional Costs to Consider, but not limited to:

  • Visa (if applicable)
Travel Insurance:
Students on approved overseas activities receive complimentary travel insurance (policy number: 41443), although you may require additional cover depending on your circumstances.

      • You will not be required to submit additional documents.
