Program details

Objective
Students will develop the following capabilities:
  1. Analyse and discuss design thinking, its manifestations and implications across organisational contexts.
  2. Differentiate between various contemporary methods to identify opportunities and solve problems.
  3. Create and communicate end-user driven solutions to business problems or opportunities utilising design thinking.
  4. Demonstrate creative, critical and ethical thinking through developing and recommending solutions to business problems and opportunities that benefit relevant stakeholders.
  5. Evaluate potential outcomes of design thinking in view of better decision making, implementation and sustainability of solutions.

  • Individual Assessments
  • Assigned team WIL project
Eligibility
  • Only open to all RMIT Vietnam students enrolled in the following programs: eMBA
Academic Credit
  • BUSM4520 Design Thinking for Business (Executive) - As per the agreement with your program manager or your School at RMIT Vietnam.
Costs
Costs to consider, but limited to:
  • RMIT tuition tee
  • Host Country Visa (if applicable)
  • Personal Expenditure
  • Transfers to and from airport and hotel
  • Any travel costs that are not covered by RMIT
  • Additional travel insurance coverage
Travel insurance
Students on approved overseas activities receive complimentary travel insurance (policy number: 41443), although you may require additional cover depending on your circumstances.
